It's hard material, but a good class.

ece134 . 6 Months Ago

Horribly structured, just reads off his slides which are just examples from a textbook. When he does explain a problem, he chooses to explain the algebra and not the electrodynamic content itself. Goodluck. Read Griffths. Slides are largely disorganized and very confusing.

Course load was way too much. covered the same content and textbook PHYS 110A and PHYS 110B in the span of 10 weeks. Homework was the most confusing thing on the planet. Professor also went to fast to cover these topics, expected us to read 50 pages of the textbook a week to fully understand. homework had to be turned in in-person as well.

Does not teach the material and only solves problems in class. Expects students to read 1-2 chapters per week. Good luck.

ECE136B . 1 Year, 2 Months Ago

Cared heavily on students learning rather than exams. Little homework, but i see it as a downside because it was hard to retain a lot of what he is saying. There is no textbook, everything is based off lectures he gives so its important to attend almost all of them. Lots of topics to cover in 10 weeks but was manageable. very different from ece134.

Super chill professor and lectures were clear. Guest lecturers were cool as well. Tests and HW weren't bad. Thank god I could take this class instead of the dreaded CHEM 1A.
