CollegeA fantastic introduction to continuous-time signal analysis; his lectures were always rich in information and included in-class examples of the content, which made attending highly rewarding. His exams are challenging yet never unfair if you have a solid understanding of the material. Overall one of the best professors I have had thus far, 10/10.
He is an excellent professor who clearly prioritizes students' understanding of the material, including the underlying motivation behind each concept. Although the exams and assignments were challenging, the course was highly informative and rewarding. The computer labs were especially beneficial and also a ton of fun.
I took him for 130A and now 149. He has some of the best lecture slides and explains everything in a way that makes things easy to understand. Lectures are interesting and he has a lot of practice problems/class participation that really helps overall understanding. If you are going to take 130a do whatever you can to get his class.
Super nice professor and lecture slides are very comprehensive. If you see him teaching 130A get in ASAP!
Very competent professor with wonderful lectures.
jason is the best professor i have ever had in terms of teaching ability. his lectures are incredible. he has figured out how to teach one of the hardest subjects while somehow keeping it interesting. he focuses on concepts over computations. homeworks prep you well for exams, which are super tough, but reasonable imo. TAKE 130A WITH MARDEN.
