Analysis of continuous time linear systems in the time and frequency domains. Superposition and convolution. Bilateral and unilateral Laplace transforms. Fourier series and Fourier transforms. Filtering, modulation, and feedback.

Prerequisites: Mathematics 4B or 5A with a minimum of grade of C; open to EE and computer engineering majors only.

I took both 130A and 149 with him. He is very knowledgeable and explains the material very well. The class was never boring and is also very approachable and willing to answer questions. The grading criteria was fair and the homework was at the right level of difficulty where you weren't overwhelmed, but still learned a ton. Highly recommend!

Took him for ECE149A (Game Theory). His lectures were unhelpful and he had way too much confusing notation that made even the easier concepts very hard to follow. Do not take.

compared to the previous offering of ECE 130A it was a lot easier and more accomodating. This was my first introduction to MATLAB and the programming assignments were very helpful. Tests were fair but I left the class understanding signal analysis. The biggest benefit though, is that if you type your homework you get a lot of extra credit!
