CollegeHas so many slides with random information she doesn't go over. Says UMM all the time and doesn't know answers to questions being asked.
I really enjoyed this class. I took it in Fall 2024. Lectures are recorded and easy to understand. She allows cheat sheets on midterm and final exam. Labs are fairly simple in my opinion and forming a group helps a lot. We had a mandatory field trip for our class that I actually found quite fun. She also brought her dog to office hours. Recommend!
Although Prof Anderson was super sweet and had the most adorable dog ever, her class was too much work for a GE. midterm/final had such oddly specific questions, she did let us use cheat sheets tho, lecture heavy and labs were long and unnecessary. Super nice professor just lots of work.
Don't get why there's so many bad ratings, I loved this class and this professor! Textbook wasn't required but it was helpful to read the chapters before the lectures. Lectures not mandatory but helpful to go to and to ask questions. Lab, midterm, final, quizzes, all pretty easy. Professor Anderson is so helpful during office hours as well! Love!
So much information thrown at us during lecture. Labs were quite difficult and lengthy and the TA wasn't much help :/ However, she was very kind during office hours. Midterm and final not too bad, all mcq and allowed cheat sheets. Didn't go into much depth sometimes, and mostly reads of the slides. egregious amount of slides per lecture.
She is a nice person; however, this class was my least favorite of all quarter. Honestly I hated it,,, it was so much work for a class I (tbh) didn't care about. We had to go on a field trip on a SATURDAY at 7:30am to 3 pm. The labs are annoying. I'd steer clear of this class with this prof and wait until the other prof teaches it.
