I'm so glad I took her Afrofuturism seminar. Dr. Grue chose each reading with such deliberation & care, which made the material that much more engaging. I usually don't like readings, but I loved a lot of the ones she chose. Moreover, she is super understanding and cares about her students. Her and this seminar have impacted my worldview greatly.
